Hey guys, hope you're all doing ok. Personally, I'm exhausted... I've had to work every day for the last ten and I'm dead on my feet... and still have to go back tomorrow! Still, should be the last day so no worries, right?

I was told that the last chapter wasn't great and I have my doubts that this one was much better but there's a reason for this: I'm coming to the very end of my fic and I've only got three to six more chapters left. This is just filler until we can get to the really good stuff....

With a roar and a final lurch, the Pucelle suddenly decelerated, spitting them out into space.
"SHITE!!!" Jago snarled, shaking his head in surprise. "What the fuck just happened?!?!"
"How do you mean?" Skuld demanded, rubbing her sore neck with her hand. "We just tried to give ourselves whiplash again from leaving the Gate too fast... I think".
"That's not what I mean!" he snapped and pointed out of the viewport. "We're off course! We should be several thousand miles closer to Earth!" Skuld glanced out and frowned. The Earth was there and everything seemed in order, as they hovered somewhere over the North Pole.
"Closer? How do you mean?"
"We were supposed to drop out of orbit at a few miles up... not just within the orbit of the moon!" He shook his head and thumped a fist on the intercom. "Temmy! You and that boy get your arses up here!
